Ludhiana police on Saturday booked a singer and a producer for releasing a music selling gun tradition.
The accused are Tari Kasapuria, singer and proprietor of Love music firm, and Satta DK, music producer, who’s a resident of Raikot.
That is the primary such motion taken by the Punjab Police after the federal government launched a crackdown on these displaying firearms and selling gun tradition and violence.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Harjeet Singh stated the accused had on November 16 launched a music on YouTube titled ‘32 bore’.
The music with lyrics, ‘Dabb vich rakkhi da hai 32 bore’, had been going viral on social networking websites, he added.
The SSP stated a case underneath sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 294 (obscene acts and songs) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to impress breach of the peace) of the IPC has been registered towards the accused on the Raikot Sadar police station. A hunt is on to nab them, he added.
