The Tradition Nook: Love’s ‘Endlessly Modifications’
If you consider the “Summer time of Love,” you most likely think about hippies and flower kids hanging out in San Francisco.
However the Los Angeles-based band Love reacted just a little otherwise to the “Summer time of Love” with their album Endlessly Modifications. On this version of The Tradition Nook, World Cafe correspondent John Morrison talks about how Love’s 1967 album was, in some ways, the thematic reverse to a lot of the music that got here out of the “Summer time of Love.”
Morrison explains why Love’s band title might have been just a little tongue-in-cheek and what set them other than different bands.
