OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The shortage of feminine illustration in STEM fields, which stands for Science Expertise Engineering Drugs, is steadily getting extra consideration.
3 Information Now Meteorologist Caitlin Connell met with the reigning Miss Omaha STEM, Francesca Stessman, to speak about how she’s making an attempt to make a distinction.
“I’m very obsessed with representing these ladies who might not have a voice or could also be too afraid to talk up. And as a lady in STEM, I need to be part of the change that it created by my platform and I need to empower ladies within the discipline for a brighter future for all of us,” stated Stessman.
Proper now, she spends a few of her time speaking to youngsters about pursuing STEM fields.
Francesca works at Nebraska Drugs as a CNA and hopes to someday change into a doctor’s assistant and assist folks each day.
