New youngsters on the block. The Real Housewives of New York City is getting a reboot with a forged of contemporary faces for season 14, and Bravo lastly confirmed the newcomers will make their debut on Sunday, July 16, at 9 p.m. ET.
The forged for RHONY season 14 — Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jessel Taank, Jenna Lyons and Brynn Whitfield — was introduced at BravoCon in October 2022.
Among the newbies are lifelong New Yorkers. De Silva, 41, is a Brooklyn resident and artistic director of way of life firm Scout the Metropolis. Lichy, 34, was raised in Manhattan and now lives in Tribeca as she runs her residential renovation and design agency, Homegirl.
Different new Housewives are newer to the Huge Apple. Hassan, 35, is initially from Somalia, and the mannequin made her option to Kenya and Canada earlier than touchdown in New York. Taank, 31, is a vogue publicist and model marketing consultant of British-Indian descent.
In the meantime, Whitfield, 36, was raised in a small midwestern city earlier than internet hosting dinner events within the West Village and making waves within the model advertising discipline.
Born in Boston and raised in California, Lyons, 54, the previous president of J. Crew (she left the corporate after 27 years in 2017), has lived in New York Metropolis for many years, hopping from Brooklyn to Tribeca to SoHo. She now serves as cofounder of the sweetness model LoveSeen.
One month after the forged announcement, matchmaker Lizzy Savetsky announced she was not filming the sequence.
“I cannot be persevering with on The Actual Housewives of NYC,” she wrote in a press release on Instagram, explaining that as “a proud orthodox Jewish lady” she hoped being a part of the sequence can be a chance to signify individuals of her religion. “Sadly, from the time of my announcement within the forged, I used to be on the receiving finish of a torrent of antisemitic assaults. As this continued, I spotted that this path was not proper for me and my household.”
