Could pumping CO2 under Canada’s coast cause earthquakes?

A plan to inject thousands and thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide into the seafloor off Canada’s west coast seems to return with little or no threat of triggering an earthquake. However such “induced seismicity” might be a problem for carbon storage tasks elsewhere.
