I met Jean Darsie years in the past when she contacted me about an individual dwelling in a automobile. As a metropolis of Seattle worker, it was common for residents to name me about this situation. What was uncommon was for the caller to be advocating for the automobile resident. Darsie and her companion in anti-homelessness efforts, the Rev. Invoice Kirlin-Hackett, labored tirelessly to make sure individuals in automobiles have been seen as human beings. It doesn’t shock me in any respect that she continued her compassion at the same time as she left this life.
