Having learn the article relating to minority farmers and their need to assist folks in want, it struck me in how ironic it’s that the U.S. Congress is chopping the applications for these in want.

That is the Congress that’s in chaos, the one which rolled again the SNAP cash and desires to remove contemporary fruit and greens from individuals who want it. That is the Congress that’s so damaged however nonetheless will get to go house on weekends and receives a commission. What do they care about farmers, produce and meals for the folks they symbolize?

I do know that within the meals pantry that I’ve at our highschool, I’ve already had extra households and teenagers store for meals than ever earlier than, and that is solely October. Have a look at all of the cuts to those folks simply making an attempt to get by.
