Lunar eclipse 2023: October blood moon captured in stunning images around the world

Photographers all over the world captured beautiful pictures of this weekend’s partial lunar eclipse. Such eclipses occur when the moon’s orbit round Earth brings each our bodies consistent with the solar – an occasion generally known as syzygy.

This one was totally seen from the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa, the place folks may see a “blood moon” partially turning red, whereas folks in components of of North America, South America and Australia merely noticed the moon darken.
